Top 5 FAQs asked from Travel Nurses
How do I notify Vero of potential or confirmed exposure?
If you are a Vero client or traveler, and need to notify us of a potential or confirmed case, please call us immediately: Vero Healthcare Hotline: 877-695-5960
Please note your healthcare facility will also contact all potentially exposed healthcare professionals.
Will I be paid if I am quarantined due to COVID-19 exposure at my current assignment?
Yes! Our policy indicates that if you travel with us and are quarantined/furloughed you will receive compensation (wages, meals, lodging stipends) for up to 14 days because of workplace exposure to COVID-19. If you have our health insurance, that will continue as well.
What if I want to take a new crisis assignment? Can I leave my current one?
We appreciate every nurse who wants to help during this time. However, your current facility is depending on you to provide patient care to their community. If you leave your current contract early you put your fellow colleagues at risk during this crisis. We must fulfill our commitment to our facilities and patients that we both agreed to help when you took your assignment. We are here to support you during every assignment. We will continue to work together as a team to ensure you get what you need most to succeed.
Where else can I find real-time COVID-19 information for travel healthcare professionals?
Healthcare professionals and facilities can stay up to date with the latest guidance from the CDC by visiting the website’s information for Healthcare Professionals & Healthcare Facilities pages. The CDC does have specific guidance for travelers if anyone is considering traveling in the near future.
