Red River Gorge

RRG is a favorite place to visit for climbers, hikers, and kayakers alike!

RRG is also home to Natural Bridge a sandstone rock bridge that is 65 feet in height and 78 feet in length and is the most visited arch in the state of Kentucky!

Lake Cumberland & Cumberland Falls

Lake Cumberland is a 2.5 hour trip from Hazard, KY, and has plenty of options for anyone who loves the water! You can enjoy boating, fishing, waterskiing, jet skiing, kayaking, and much much more! If you don’t want to be on the water they have plenty of parks, and trails to keep you busy. They offer a variety of cabin rentals to stay for a long weekend trip and a variety of restaurants, wineries, and breweries to enjoy if you don’t want to do any cooking. Cumberland Falls is a bit closer with only a 2 hour trip from Hazard. It is often called the little Niagara or the Niagara of the south. It is perfect for any outdoor lover as it offers a wide range of hiking trails, wildlife, rafting adventures, and amazing views! Mammoth Cave National Park

Mammoth Cave National Park is a beautiful and amazing destination that is only a 3 hour trip from Hazard, KY!
